One of the panch kedar (2nd ) Madhmaheshar temple opening on 20 May in 2013. According to the tradition, the opening date decided on the auspicious day of Vaishakhi festival (April, 14) in Ukhimath ( winter place of Lord Kedarnath ji ).Every year the priest of Brahamankholi (a place of uthimath) and other member of badrinath-kedarnath temple committee will abstracted the date of opening from Panchanga ( a hindu calender ). so the door will open at 11 :00 AM morning for six month summer season.

The Doli of madhmaheshwar temple will came out from sanctuary of Omkareshwar temple in 16 may. for the next day Doli worship held at out of the temple sanctuary. on may 18 , Doli set off from Omkareshwar temple and will go on to Ransi village for that day night stay. in this day all the villagers comes to Ransi temple for a glimpse and blessing of madhmahshwar ji. in the next morning madhmaheshwar Doli will departure from Ransi village to Gaundar village. on 19 may doli will rest in Gaundar village.on 20 may doli will departure form gaundar to temple at 7:00 AM. 
at the 11 AM temple preist and his assistant take a orbital round of madhamahshwar temple with Doli and opened the door for six month.

opening date of char dham yatra is 13 may in 2013. according to the temple committee gangortri and yamunotri temple reopening in 13 may in 2013 for six months after remaining closed for 6 month duration. as every year gangotri and yamunotri temple opens in the ospicious day of Hindu Dharm, Akhshaya tritiya . according to the HINDU PANCHANG, this year akshaya tritiya coming on 13 of the may, so both gangotri and yamunotri temple door opening in 13th may.badrinath and kedarnath temple will also reopen at earlier morning of 14 and 16 may in 2013.in this closed 6 month char dham temple had on under snowbound in winter season.the gate of badrinth will open at 4:00 AM with Vedic chanting.

This year the door of kedarnath temple will open on 14 may 2013 on VAINAYAKI GANESH CHATURTHI VRAT(Tuesday) for six month and this date revealed the answer of many devotee that when will kedarnath temple open ?
 it is not yet officially announced by badrinath-kedarnath temple committee but this date will be declared on shiv ratri festival and Muhurat timing for opening door will also disclosed by temple committee CEO. as we know in 2012 kedarnath temple opened on 28 April for all devotee around the globe and closed on 15 November 2012 just after 2 days of deepawali festival.while kedarnath temple door will closed on Tuesday 5th November 2013.other char dham temple (badrinath, gangotri and yamunotri) opening date will also announced soon.

Snowfall in Chopta Tungnath

it's again after a long time to see a heavy snow fall in the most beautiful tourist place in  lap of uttarakhand. in this winter season, while the cold weather is on peak of it, heavy snow felled in the whole kedarnath valley but the beautiful things is that as chopta is the most visited tourist place during snow winter season along with tungnath temple, these two area strongly filled and all covered with snow. all around is seeming white and white snow. hundred of local visitors came here with their family and friends and enjoy the snow during the most beautiful time of the year between the Christmas and New year Week.

                  but this year the snowfall record couldn't touch the previous year snowfall record yet. as per the record chopta seems like put snow sheet everywhere and tungnath is fully merged in snow and some of there hotel and houses fully covered with snow. there were above 7 ft high snow measured in the early morning of this Happy New Year.

Most famous kalimath temple is on renovation now a day. temple renovation work started just few day before under Badrinath-Kedarnath temple committee.
as kalimath temple is known for it's spiritual power. and it's always opens for all 12 month of  year from the morning 5:00 AM to evening 6:00 PM. the temple renovation work starts with it's out-area. labor keep the middle part of temple as it is before and it's outer pillar overthrow from there after digging one day.
digging work is going in progress and very fast as devotee not getting enough time to worship Maa Kali. but worship is continuing  in the small part of internal part of temple.

Opening date of Rudranath Temple in 2012

One of the panch kedar temple, Rudranath temple opens on Friday 18 May,2012 for all devotees at 5:00 AM in the morning with Vadic chanting (वैदिक मंत्रोचारण ). hundred of people went with rudranth doli procession and witness for the first darshan of Rudranth temple in 2012. with that all the panch kedar temple doors open completely for 2012 summer, although the last and fifth kedar (kalpeshwar)  open for all month in the year and never closed for devotees.

Rudranath Temple situated at an altitude of above 2286 meter from sea level  and located in the mid of beatutiful grassy field land.

Kedarnath Dham Opening First Week News and Updates 2012

Kedarnath Temple Door has been open on 28 April to all devotees across the world for 6 Month only.and this year a recorded snowfall had seen in kedarnath valley. although Snowfall is continuing in all days of the first week of opening in 2012.  although every year the valley is fully covered with snow with 6 to 10 ft but this year 15 ft recorded snow falled near to kedarnath temple.
due to this heavy snowfall , first week (28 apirl to 5 May ) is really uncomfortable or not in good order rather than previous year. there was no light,water supply and fully medical facilities till the first week of opening date.
